Earlier this week I visited the Thy Distillery in Denmark to write an article for the next Whisky Passion. As we’ll be deep diving into the story behind the distillery in that article, and I already wrote quite a bit
Thy PX is a fully PX matured Thy Single Malt made from both pale malt and beechwood smoked malt!
Thy Cask 1260 is a single cask single malt from Thy Distillery matured in an ex-bourbon cask. Made entirely of beechwood smoked malt!
Thy Cask 376 is a Heritage Wheat Whisky release from Thy Distillery. Using both emmer and øland grains and aged in New Oak.
Thy Bøg is my favourite Thy Whisky thus far. It’s both unique and intruiging and most important of all, utterly delicious!
Thy Single Malt just like the Hawboen makes use of beechwood smoke malt. But this time around it’s aged in Bourbon, Oloroso and PX!
Thy Spelt-Rye. As the name suggests a combination of Spelt and Rye malts, but also some barley! Aged in New Oak Casks.
My first ever Thy review! Made from both beechwood smoke malt and pale malt, this dram is sure to be intruiging!
