Hogshead Reviews: Dailuaine 6 & Benrinnes 10

The next two whiskies from Hogshead’s inaugural release I get to review are the Benrinnes 10 and Dailuaine 6.

Tasting notes and a review of the 8-year-old Linkwood and 11-year-old Benrinnes from Hogshead’s inaugural release.

As a longtime staple on my shelve, I thought it high time to review this delicious Bunnahabhain 12. An unpeated gem from Islay.

This 15-year-old Linkwood is bottled by Gordon & Macphail for their Distillery Labels series. And it proved to be quite a treat!

This 11-year-old Strathmill is one of the first releases from the new Hogshead label, by Hogshead Imports from The Netherlands.

This Whisky Wednesday I brought an 8-year-old Balblair by Kintra as a sample on my walk, to celebrate Burns Night with this Highland dram.

This 9-year-old Williamson from The Maltman is an amazing independent bottling from the Laphroaig Distillery. Raw and unforgoving!

This Ardlair 2011 is an unpeated offering from the Ardmore Distillery. The Ultimate by van Wees bottled this particular release.

Port Charlotte 10 is an amazing Islay Whisky from the Bruichladdich Distillery. A complex dram begging to be explored.

The Arran 10 is an amazing “bang for your buck whisky”. Un-chillfiltered, natural colour, and bottled at 46% ABV. All for less than 35 euro.
