On day 7 the SMWS advent calendar takes a sidestep from Scotch, towards Wales. With The Magic Faraday Tree.

On day 6 of advent SMWS surprises us with A Wee Scamp. A 7-year-old Glen Moray aged in a first fill ex-bourbon cask.

On day 5 of the SMWS advent calendar we’re surprised by a peated dram, bearing the promising name “A Particular Kind of Beauty”.

The sweet kiss of leather splinters is what the SMWS decided to call this dram, let’s see if today’s advent lives up to its name!

Lip-Smacking, Citric and Summery is a whole mouthfull to name a dram. Let’s see if it lives up to that description!

This SMWS bottling is nicknamed “Gold Rush” and I can see why. I have rarely tasted a dram with honey as rich as this!
